Beanna is an Enrolled Agent in private practice as Whitlock Tax Service, LLC located in Canyon Lake, TX.
A tax law instructor for more than 35 years with emphasis on Limited Liability Company and Ethics and Professional Conduct presentations. Beanna has taught tax professionals across the country and is an adjunct professor for Auburn University. She is a faculty member of the National Center for Professional Education as well as the Executive Director of the NCPE Fellowship.
She has testified before Congress, Treasury and the IRS Oversight Board. She has served on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Council as well as the IRS Commissioner’s Advisory Committee (CAG). She served as the IRS Director of National Public Liaison for Commissioner Mark Everson and is a recipient of the Commissioner’s Award for Excellence of Service.
She has been honored by Accounting Today as one of the 100 Most Influential in Accounting for an unprecedented 7 years.
Known for her fierce defense of the tax professional community, Beanna is frequently consulted by accounting and tax publications regarding issues concerning the tax professional community.
She is the 2013 Member of the Year of the California Society of Tax Professionals.
Honored by the National Conference of CPA Practitioners in 2015 for her contribution to Excellence in Education, “Beanna serves the tax professional community as an inspired calling”.
She is joined in the practice of Whitlock Tax Service, LLC, offering taxpayer representation and tax return preparation, by her husband of 50 years, Tom Whitlock. They enjoy antiquing, travel and time at home with their three dachshunds, Bess, Walter and Buddy, the blonde doxie!

They will also learn how to protect their Seniors from abuse and how they can protect themselves from their Seniors. .
As our clients age, we encounter issues of aging. In order to help taxpayers, tax professionals must understand the aging process and what we can do to help taxpayers to engage in the preparation of the return and what plans must be made for the day when the taxpayer can no longer assist in the preparation of their tax return.

Learning Objective: At the conclusion of this class, the attendee will be exposed to both the Final 1040 as well as the Estate Return of income for the descendent. Income in Respect of Decedent will be covered and the need to file for :portability” on the Form 706. Gifting and the changes for 2018 will be reviewed and participants will discover what a gift is and when it is not a gift. Attendees will be exposed to trusts from the accounting and tax perspective and be aware of the hazards of when the taxpayer does not understand the trust created. Executor duties will be reviewed.
The final return of the taxpayer, Form 1040, and the Estate of the Taxpayer, Form 1041 will be examined with a case study spanning multiple years. Gifts and Estates will examine the new tax law changes as well as the issue of “portability”. Trusts will expose participants to various type of trusts and will present the preparation requirements of preparing Form 1041 Trust Returns. A brief overview of Executor/trix duties will also be examined.

A thorough review of the operational structure of the Limited Liability Company, with particular emphasis on the Federal Tax Classification possibilities. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act includes sweeping reform of the Internal Revenue Code not seen in over 30 years. This comprehensive tax overhaul dramatically changes the rules governing the taxation of individual taxpayers for tax years beginning after December 31, 2017 which also requires a sunset provision January 1, 2026.

GAATP Complaint Resolution Policy
Any and all complaints are handled on a case by case basis utilizing the resources of our Ethics and Grievance Committee. The complaint must be received in writing and signed by the complainant. All information and the exam process are held confidential. The findings and disposition shall be submitted to and must be approved by the Board of Governors. It is the effort of the Ethics and Grievance Committee to be fair and impartial basing its deliberations and/or findings on merits of the individual complaint.
IRS Approved Continuing Education is only mandatory for enrolled agents (EAs) and enrolled retirement plan agents (ERPAs). Participation in Continuing Education by all other federal tax return preparers is now voluntary.
GAATP Refund Policy
All requests for refund of seminar registration fees must be made in writing and are subject to a $75.00 service charge. If seminar registration fee is less than $75, service charge will be equal to half the registration fee. Requests made prior to fourteen (14) days of the event will be fully refunded less the service charge. Fourteen (14) days through forty-eight (48) hours of the event will receive half the registration fee subject to the charge. There will be no refund for failure to show (“No Shows.”)
Georgia Association of Accountants and Tax Professionals (GAATP) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
